Craig Lidster visit, February 2022.

Located in "the Newmarket of the North" Malton, Craig Lidster's stable is hidden away but houses a lot of potentially exciting horses to send out on track in 2022, on both the flat and over hurdles.
With a partnership with NewGen Racing already blossoming with five horses in training, Craig is attracting higher profile owners to his small stables including Wendy Burnett and the increasingly powerful Nick Bradley Racing Syndicate. Masque Of Anarchy provided the yard and NewGen Racing with a memorable summer with two wins and a second, and other well thought of horses include Step To The Top, a mare who ran well on her latest start over hurdles. Despite falling at the second last hurdle, she had raced clear in the lead. Young upstarts in the yard include Golden Alba, Firbeck and an Oasis Dream filly out of Sommers Daughter.
A move to a larger stable complex in Easingwold on the outskirts of York is imminent and will provide great excitement for the team as the move will see numbers of horses double and triple from current figures.

Despite the horrible weather due to the tail end of the infamous Storm Eunice passed through the area, it was an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere for members and staff to mix and mingle while meeting the horses. A big thank you to NewGen Racing visit for arranging the event and to Craig Lidster for hosting everyone. Good luck in the future.
